Angela’s approach to coaching is holistic and client-centered. Valuing personal growth and development, Angela sees the coaching relationship as a catalyst for life-long learning. Her coaching style allows clients to unleash their potential by focusing on their dreams and talents as anchors for the development process. She helps clients gain self-awareness and build the social and emotional competencies necessary to connect more effectively with others.
Angela has coached leaders in the education and healthcare industries, as well as graduate and undergraduates students. She has a special interest in leaders at points of transition, operations-level managers, and women’s leadership development.
Angela is certified to administer the Emotional & Social Competency Inventory and has done extensive work with the Clifton StrengthsFinder. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Organizational Behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management. Her research interests include adult learning, leadership development, positive emotions and cognition. Prior to pursing her PhD, Angela was the Director of the Center for Leadership at Elon University.
Angela also holds an M.S. in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University and B.S. in Psychology & General Business from James Madison University.
