FAQ
Using online registration, can I register someone other than myself, or register multiple people?
Please contact us at seminars@case.edu or call 216.368.6413 or 800.736.6403. We will be happy to accommodate you.
Where can I find information about directions and accommodations?
Please see Plan Your Visit for all information regarding directions, parking, and hotel accommodations.
How can I learn which program is right for me?
There is never a simple answer to this important question. Often the best first step to take is to have a discussion with your supervisor, or someone in your HR department
to talk about your career aspirations or performance goals. With that information, you can discuss what skills or competencies you may need to meet and exceed your goals.
Additionally, the Weatherhead Executive Education team is always willing to discuss your educational needs as well. We are happy to help you select a program that will
set you on the path towards greater success. For a personal consultation, feel free to call us at 216.368.6413 or 800.736.6403, or email
seminars@case.edu.
My name has changed. How can I update my account?
Please contact Executive Education to change your name, including prefix and suffix, in our records.
How do I register for one of the certificates?
The easiest way is to register online. Simply select the appropriate classes from those listed in the certificate description.
We track your progress automatically. Alternatively, you can contact us by phone at 216.368.6413 or 800.736.6403, and we can handle your registration for you.
Please note that a program can only be applied toward the requirements of one certificate.
In addition, please remember that although our programs are modular and we do our best to be sensitive to time conflicts that arise, you must complete your certificate within
the 18 month time frame to avoid taking additional classes (although you just might want to anyway).
What does it mean if I am on the Waitlist for a program?
The program you selected is filled to capacity. If space becomes available, we will contact you to complete your registration. You may also contact us to see if there is another program that could meet your education and development goals.
How do I pay for a program once I've registered?
You will receive your invoice by email. If you indicated that you would like to pay by credit card, Executive Education staff will contact your directly.
Does Weatherhead Executive Education offer discounts?
Weatherhead does offer discounts for nonprofit organizations as well as alumni and current students of Case Western Reserve University. Call us at 216.368.6413 or 800.736.6403 for more information.
How do you define a "nonprofit"?
"Nonprofit" refers to charitable organizations as defined by the United States Internal Revenue Service Code 501(c)(3). We may (at our discretion) ask for 501(c)(3) verification.
I've registered for an upcoming program. Will I receive any pre-program materials, such as reading materials or other communication?
Complete program information will be emailed to you approximately two weeks prior to the program. If you register less than two weeks prior to the program this information will be
sent out in the days after your registration. If you have not received this email and it is less than 2 weeks before your program, please email affiliate@case.edu.
I won't be able to attend a program for which I've registered. How can I cancel my registration?
To cancel your registration, contact Executive Education. Please be aware that many programs have a cancellation fee, and do not offer any refund
for cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the program start. Please review our policies for
complete cancellation information.
You may also wish to consider substituting a different program if you are unable to attend your first selection.
