Suzette is a Board-Certified Coach with 38 years of experience collaborating with individuals seeking to ignite sustainable change in their personal and professional lives through intentional discovery, purpose, and strengths-based development.
Suzette is a Board-Certified Coach with 38 years of experience collaborating with individuals seeking a process to ignite sustainable changes in their personal and professional lives. Her coaching practice rests on the use of Intentional Change Theory® through a model of various stages of personal discoveries. Through this iterative process, individuals actively engage in stages of active reflection related to cherished values, greater sense of purpose, passion, vision, and individual identity. Clients renew and acquire a wider lens to envision and create their futures based on a renewed sense their unique strengths and giftedness. Individuals learn to leverage their distinctive talents to promote and sustain their physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual health.
Suzette has a collection of varied work experiences that culminated in a 24-year career at Case Western Reserve University, starting in Executive Education at the Weatherhead School of Management. Her role involved working with organizations, professionals, and executives who were furthering their studies in both continuing education and advanced degrees in business, management, and leadership development. Suzette spent the remaining of her years with Case Western in the Case School of Engineering where she integrated her interest in both disciplines and held the position as Executive Director for the Institute for Management and Engineering before leaving the University.
Aligned to her interest in resilience, learning, and healthy adaptation, Suzette spent time serving as a Board-Certified Coach for University Hospital's Integrative Health Center, and an instructor in the areas of stress management, resilience training and participated in their Executive Health Programming. Over the last two years, Suzette has also worked as a "Hero Motivator" for The Reboot Project® servicing military veterans and first responders to keep thriving and serving with the unique needs and talents of this community.
Additionally, Suzette holds credentials as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Supervisor, and Certified Trauma Professional. She earned her M.A. in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary, her independent clinical licensure with the State of Ohio and B.A. in psychology from Balwin Wallace University. In this role in private practice, she works with individuals, couples, and families to build skills and strategies for effective living at all stages in life.
