Susan Rehm, Weatherhead Coach

Susan helps people discover their core values and explore their potential, especially as they navigate transitions. Drawing on her background in education, healthcare administration and medicine, she empowers individuals to evaluate their identity, define their goals and discover their future direction.



Susan encourages growth by assisting individuals in identifying their distinctive strengths and valuing their authentic selves. Through the cultivation of strong, supportive relationships, she creates an environment that promotes well-being, trust, and aspirational thinking. Clients are guided through purposeful change at a pace tailored to their needs.

With leadership experience spanning health care organizations, professional societies, and nonprofit entities, as well as more than forty years of medical practice, Susan brings a wealth of expertise to her coaching practice. Drawing on her background in coaching both professionals and students, she is dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their development objectives.

In addition to individual engagements, Susan provides coaching services for organizations such as Weatherhead Executive Education, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the Mandel Global Leadership and Learning Institute and the Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative of Northern Ohio. Susan serves as a faculty member and mentor coach at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Excellence in Coaching and Mentoring.

Susan is Professor Emerita of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and a member of the Consultant Staff in the Education Institute at Cleveland Clinic. She co-facilitates Networking for Excellence in Transitions (NExT), a peer development group she established in 2023.
