Caroline’s passion is to help individuals and organizations achieve sustainable, desired growth. Her coaching style provides space for rich, purposeful conversations designed to enhance life, career, and leadership potential. Caroline guides clients through the change process with a mix of warmth, humor and a practical results-focused orientation. She leads clients to set, achieve and sustain individualized personal and professional goals.

Caroline’s coaching style draws heavily from proven strengths-based approaches that include emotional intelligence (EI), Intentional Change Theory, and Appreciative Inquiry (AI).

Caroline is an experienced coach and founder of Starfish Practice, LLC, an industry neutral change management consulting company. Starfish Practice specializes in change management with a special interest in leadership development, organizational culture and workforce engagement.

Caroline brings a broad base of experience to her coaching expertise. Previous careers in hotel management, child protection services, and national and international work in healthcare transformation have informed her inclusive approach to coaching. This background is at the core of Caroline’s ongoing journey and passion to support the growth and development of others.

Caroline’s education, training and scholarly work include:

  • An MS in Positive Organizational Development and Change from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
  • BS degrees from Cleveland State University in Social Work and Psychology.
  • Certifications in Coaching, Appreciative Inquiry in Positive Business and Society Change and, Emotional and Social Competence Inventory by the Hay Group (ESCI).
  • Journal publications in major healthcare quality journals.
