Jennifer Budd

Jennifer Budd, PCC, ACTC, is an accomplished executive and team coach, facilitator, and educator with more than 25 years of experience across sectors including government, nuclear power, consumer products, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and biotech.

Before launching her consulting practice, Jennifer spent many years as a senior HR leader and internal coach. That experience grounded her approach in the realities of organizational life. Her time in the trenches navigating politics, culture shifts, restructuring, and executive expectations deeply informs how she partners with clients today. She brings both an insider’s understanding and an external coach’s perspective, which creates a relatable, practical, and
trusted presence with senior leaders and HR teams.

A lifelong student of team dynamics and more recently the evolving relationship between humans and artificial intelligence in the workplace, Jennifer draws on Corentus methodologies, Systemic Team Coaching, adult development theory, and a range of assessment tools to help leaders and teams navigate complexity, build trust, and achieve high performance. One of the first coaches globally to earn the International Coaching Federation’s Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC), she brings rigor, clarity, and warmth to her practice.

Through her company, Development Unbound, Jennifer partners with HR professionals and senior leaders to build the mindset and capabilities needed to lead in an era where artificial intelligence is reshaping work, culture, and expectations of leadership. She designs and facilitates learning experiences focused on the intersection of HR and AI, as well as critical
thinking and problem solving. Her work helps leaders adopt AI responsibly, ethically, and strategically while ensuring that people remain at the center of transformation.

Jennifer frames AI adoption as a cultural shift first and a technology shift second. She guides leaders to navigate uncertainty, disruption, and rapid change with steadiness and empathy. In her work, she emphasizes the irreplaceably human strengths that fuel great leadership including empathy, trust building, curiosity, cultural awareness, adaptability, and the ability to spark energy and inspiration in others.

Jennifer’s credentials reflect her deep commitment to learning and professional excellence. She is certified in Corentus Team Coaching, Hogan Assessments, the Center for Creative Leadership’s 360 suite, Korn Ferry assessments, Process Communication Model, HeartMath, the Emotional and Social Competency Index, Team Management Systems, and other leading methodologies. She holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Illinois State University.

Jennifer lives in Medina, Ohio, with her two children, Sam and Alex.
