Mark Jarvis

I am an enthusiastic accounting professor and accomplished finance professional who brings real-world experience into the classroom to elevate learning and career readiness. I earned an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and am an Ohio State licensed CPA. My accounting and business emphasis is cost accounting, budgeting and variance analysis, operational / management accounting, financial reporting, insurance, cash flow, treasury, and the establishment of processes for accounting, cost accounting, and labor and material floor reporting.

I have improved the value of companies by combining my accounting and business knowledge to create financially focused operating plans and provide insightful interpretation of financial results, putting the spotlight on how operations can drive profitability.

As an educator, I understand and execute the level of planning, communication, engagement, and enthusiasm required to transfer my business and accounting knowledge in a meaningful way to capture interests and inspire a thirst to learn.

By combining my accounting and business expertise with the educational program, I deliver the best possible education to each participant and give them a solid foundation upon which to build to meet their career objectives outside of the classroom.
