Sayan Chatterjee, PhD

Sayan Chatterjee is Professor of Policy in the Department of Marketing and Policy Studies at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
His research interest is in the area of competitive strategies, firm diversification and restructuring with particular emphasis on acquisitions and merger integration and enterprise risk management from a strategic perspective. His book on managing business risks titled ‘Failsafe Strategies’ is being published by Wharton School Publishing and Pearson. He has published in leading academic journals and is presently on the editorial board of the Strategic Management Journal and Long Range Planning. He has taught at the MBA and/or PhD programs at University of Michigan, University of Windsor, Purdue University, Darden, Wharton, Indian Institute of Management and Weatherhead. He is extensively involved in executive education. He has consulted with companies from start-ups to Fortune 100 and has extensive experience in executive training programs.
Sayan Chatterjee, PhD received his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India and his PhD in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
