Kirsten C. Huff

Kirsten C. Huff is the director of the Bryn Athyn Church School, a private K–8 school in the Philadelphia area. She holds a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Positive Organizational Development from Case Western Reserve University. She uses the skills of resilience in her leadership style, and she promotes these skills among the staff and students at her school.

Prior to her current job, Huff worked with Karen Reivich to train Army sergeants and educators in the skills of resilience. She has led workshops and talks on resilience, and she contributed a chapter to Resilience: How to Navigate Life’s Curves. Huff is also a coach, specializing in strengths and resilience.
