Darcy Hitchcock

Darcy Hitchcock is a Weatherhead Affiliate Instructor and president of the sustainability consulting firm, AXIS Performance Advisors. In addition to Weatherhead Executive Education, Darcy also teaches at Bainbridge Graduate Institute (one of the top green business schools per FastCompany and NetImpact) and the University of Oregon.

Prior to forming AXIS, she was the director of a national training company. She has developed and delivered training programs in the areas of high-performance teams and sustainability initiatives. She has consulted with numerous managers and executives, and supported both government organizations and a number of Fortune 100 firms. Darcy has developed a reputation for innovative management techniques and creative learning strategies.

Darcy is also co-founder of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals. A well known public speaker and author, Darcy has written The Business Guide to Sustainability (which won the American Library Association’s Choice Award for best academic titles), The Step by Step Guide to Sustainability Planning, a novella/discussion course called Dragonfly’s Question, among other business books. Additionally, she acts as the managing editor for the International Society of Sustainability Professionals.
