Casey Newmeyer, Ph.D

Casey E. Newmeyer, holds a Ph.D in marketing from the University of Pittsburgh and spent 10 years on the faculty of the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. Currently, she is leading customer insights for a division of Cisco Systems, Inc. Her work lies within the domain of consumer-based strategy which links consumer attitudes and behaviors to managerial decision-making. Specifically, her research explores product satisfaction, brand engagement and awareness, as well as consumer well-being. In practice, she guides research in customer satisfaction, new product development, buyer persona development and market segmentation. Her publications have appeared in the Journal of Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, and other top-tier outlets. Her work has been featured in the Harvard Business Review and she has presented on numerous occasions at the American Marketing Association Educators - Conference.
