Benjamin Brooks, CISSP, CEIA

Benjamin Brooks, CISSP, CEIA, is a senior-level organizational leader with over 18 years-experience in the realms of leading teams, leveraging technology, and program management. An internationally recognized information security expert, he also provides subject matter and exam writing expertise for the International Information System Security Certification Consortium, (ISC)2.

Benjamin is the Director of the Cyber Warrior Foundation, a Minnesota-based not for profit that focuses on training primarily veterans in information security to prepare them for well-paying careers and meaning and purpose in their everyday lives.

He is the acting Vice President of Operations for Cyber Intelligence Cyber Security, LLC. His work primarily focuses on advising organizations on behavioral and administrative controls to reduce information risk, prevent breaches, and aid in compliance measures.

In addition to these roles, Benjamin is a veteran of Naval Special Warfare, Electronic Warfare teams and a drilling Navy Reservist Chief Petty Officer. During his time in active duty, Benjamin quickly distinguished himself as a visionary of electronic signals exploitation and was assigned to special units for duty with the Navy SEALs and other government organizations. He has earned expert level qualifications in every major Naval discipline in which he has served including urban warfare, surface warfare air warfare, undersea warfare, signals analysis, and technology exploitation.

Some of Benjamin's previous client engagements include Navy Cyber Defense Command, Proctor and Gamble, AXA insurance, State of New Jersey Judiciary, Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and The Ohio State University, among others.

Benjamin graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Political Science in 2011 and earned his Executive Masters of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve Weatherhead School of Management in 2018.

Benjamin resides together with his wife and two children in Eden Prairie, MN.
