Arlonda Stevens, PhD

Dr. Arlonda Stevens is a business leader and academician with an expertise in privacy compliance, strategic planning, project management, and business and organizational development. She has experience working in Fortune 500 companies, the public sector, as an entrepreneur and in academia. Currently, she is Vice President, Privacy Program Compliance Advisor in the Privacy Office at a large financial institution. Additionally, she is an Executive Education Instructor at The Weatherhead School of Management, and part-time faculty at Cleveland State University.

Dr. Stevens holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Fisk University, a MBA from Baldwin-Wallace University, and Ph.D. in Management from Case Western Reserve University. Her research interests’ center on the impacts that a data driven society has on information privacy and the social responsibility of firms collecting, using and sharing consumer personal information and Big Data ethics. Additionally, she also holds certifications as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Dr. Stevens is a 2016 Professional Woman of Excellence awarded by the YWCA. She was inducted into Delta Mu Delta and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Societies. Arlonda holds board positions with the Kym Sellers Foundation and Dress for Success, Cleveland. Other affiliations include: International Association of Privacy Professionals, National Black MBA, Black Data Processing Association, The Diversity Center of Cleveland and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
