Alec (Al) P. Morrison

Al Morrison is a senior strategy consultant for Vantage Point Performance, a management consulting firm. His career includes more than 30 years of consulting experience with A. T. Kearney and 15 years of industrial experience. For several years he headed A.T Kearney’s worldwide professional development and training organization. His previous positions at various companies include: vice president of marketing/business planning and director of control systems/design for Electron; district staff education instructor, marketing representative and systems engineer for IBM; and plant engineering systems manager and production supervisor for General Motors.

Over the course of his consulting career, Morrison has conducted projects involving manufacturing operations, strategy, information technology, materials management and organizational effectiveness. Client industries he has served include automotive, airline, communications, energy, paper, pharmaceuticals, rubber, steel and telecommunications.

Morrison provides business coaching to Weatherhead Executive MBA students to bring value and return to their sponsoring organizations and careers. He is the current board president for Medina County Faith in Action, a local nonprofit organization, and serves as chair of the corporate advisory board for The Institute for Management and Engineering (TiME) of Case Western Reserve University.

Morrison holds a degree in electrical engineering from the General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management.
