Flash Talk Presentations

This year, Weatherhead is inviting startups, corporate representatives, and academic researchers to submit proposals for short presentations that address the intersection of AI and the future of work. These presentations should be 10-15 minutes in length and can take the form of:

  • Product demonstrations
  • Case studies
  • Empirical research findings

We are particularly interested in thought-provoking, forward-looking, and visionary presentations that explore topics such as:

  1. AI-driven tools for workforce optimization
  2. Emerging AI technologies enhancing human skills and capabilities
  3. The impact of AI on job markets and employment trends
  4. Ethical considerations in AI-augmented workplaces
  5. AI's role in reshaping organizational structures and processes
  6. The future of human-AI collaboration in various industries
  7. AI's influence on remote work and distributed teams
  8. Skills and education needed for the AI-driven workplace
  9. AI and its impact on workplace diversity and inclusion
  10. Economic implications of widespread AI adoption in business

Flash Talks

How to submit

Please submit a one-page abstract outlining your proposed presentation and answer two questions via video. The abstract should include:

  • Presentation title
  • Presenter(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)
  • Brief description of the presentation content (max 300 words)
  • Presentation format (product demo, case study, or research findings)
  • Key takeaways for the audience

The two video questions are (note each will be 2 minutes or less):

  1. What inspired you to apply to the AI Symposium as a speaker?
  2. Brief pitch of your presentation.
