Yolonda Freeman-Hildreth received her MBA from Northwood University in 2014 and she is currently a Doctoral Student in the Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western Reserve University. She is a physician assistant, specializing in internal medicine. She enjoys mentoring and precepting students in the Physician Assistant programs in the Detroit area.

Interests and Courses

Research

My research interest is to examine the motivating factors that influence patients to communicate openly with their provider regarding their concerns, treatment options, and condition. This interest comes from my observation of ineffective communication resulting in greater instances of medical errors, adverse outcomes, and medical costs.
