Interests and Courses

Research

My research focus will be related to exploring the vital business management skills that are essential to the success of any organization and individual. I would like to explore the impact of including the business skills needed to secure job opportunities as a key component for sustaining STEM programs. I also have an interest in developing pathways of success for non-profit organizations and the unemployed. This interest comes from my professional experience and concern for individuals without the skills and resources to sustain themselves in the workforce. I have been inspired by Martin Luther King’s words “The great challenge is to prepare ourselves to enter these doors of opportunity.” I want to conduct research that will be instrumental in preparing organizations and individuals for opportunities.
