Tim Nguyen began his distinguished university teaching career since 2007. He currently is the Academic Director of the Business & Enterprise program and Professor at Middlebury College located in Middlebury, Vermont. Simultaneously, he is a Lecturer of public policy, public management, and finance at Johns Hopkins University located in Baltimore, Maryland. In 2019, he was a recipient of the "Excellence in Teaching" Award by Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining Middlebury College, he was a Lecturer and taught popular business economics courses to undergraduate and graduate students in the Economics Department and public policy courses at the Watson Institute of International and Public Affairs at Brown University. While at Brown University, he held the title of the Amhowitz Faculty Fellow in Business, Entrepreneurship, and Organizations and also taught finance courses in the Executive Master of Science & Technology and the Brown | IE Executive MBA program. Concurrently, he also held the academic title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance and Recruitment and Program Officer of the Master of Science in Finance at the University at Buffalo School of Management. Away from the academy, Tim has more than 25 years of private sector and not-for-profit work experience.
