Sophie Jané is a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Organizational Behavior in the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Her research interests focus risk perception, social cognition, diversity and inclusion, and legitimacy. Sophie’s research has been published in Academy of Management Learning and Education, Organizational Dynamics and The Psychologist-Manager Journal. Her recent awards include a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and the 2019 Academy of Management Learning and Education Best Paper Award.<br><br>

Research

Judgment and decision-making in the workplace, research methods, diversity and inclusion, critical management theory, research methods.<br><br>Current projects include conceptual and empirical research on risk perceptions in the workplace, inclusion in extreme work environments, and self-confidence at work.
