Please provide an example of a time where you used your Weatherhead experience/education at work or in your career.

One major component of my Weatherhead experience that I use widely today is the notion of team work and collaboration. Gaining alignment for a common goal is key to success in the workplace today. Working on group projects and working through case studies is challenging and often frustrating, but it prepares you for what to expect in the real work environment. It is something I have to do every day – live and breathe real world “case studies.”

Please complete the following sentence: Because of Weatherhead, I…

Have the strong foundation needed to not only adapt, but succeed in today’s rapidly changing global work environment.

How do you think your degree helped you? Were there any specific highlights or things that stand out from your time at Weatherhead?

Early on in my career, being strong analytically and technically was the key to landing roles my first roles at Fortune 500 companies. Now that I am more advanced in my career, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are much more important. I acquired all of these and more from my time at Weatherhead. At Weatherhead, I learned the tools I needed to grow into a leader.

Were there any specific highlights or things that stand out from your time at Weatherhead?

What stands out the most to me from my time at Weatherhead is how much the professors care. They truly care about your successes and this translated into feeling a strong connection with my experience and wanting to give back to Weatherhead when I can (helping alumni, etc).
