New M.B.A. scholarships program
Posted 2.17.07The Weatherhead School has introduced the Weatherhead Scholars program, new scholarships for M.B.A. candidates, available beginning summer 2007.
The Weatherhead School of Management has instituted a Weatherhead Scholars program and will begin to offer three new types of scholarships beginning in the summer of 2007.
Weatherhead Scholars will benefit from a unique blend of academic and practical experiences in preparation for future success. Scholars are awarded tuition allowances, living and travel stipends and unique experiential opportunities, such as access to executive mentors, leadership conferences, professional associations, action learning projects and internships.
All applicants admitted to the full-time M.B.A. program are automatically considered for these merit-based scholarships if they complete the Financial Aid checklist form that is included in the application materials.
Dean’s Fellows are awarded full tuition and a living stipend, in addition to opportunities to compete for corporate exposure assignments such as junior board seats, executive mentorships and teaching assistantships. Awardees have access to an annual employer preview event, a leadership conference of their choice and faculty mentorship.
Impact Scholars are awarded half to full tuition benefits as well as additional opportunities, including access to an annual employer preview event, alumni mentorship and a professional association membership of their choice. Awards are granted in key disciplines that are of interest to our corporate partners and the community. These areas include, but are not limited to, finance, social responsibility, entrepreneurship, marketing, social entrepreneurship, nonprofit and high growth/emerging markets.
Ambassadors are awarded half to full tuition benefits, as well as an opportunity to compete for administrative graduate assistantships.
