Fowler Center Recognizes AIM2Flourish Student Authors

Posted 4.26.2018

On April 23, the Fowler Center hosted a pizza party to celebrate Weatherhead students who had written stories of positive business innovation published on AIM2Flourish.com. Students took pictures next to their favorite UN Sustainable Development Goal, and AIM2Flourish Operations Manager Megan Buchter congratulated students on their accomplishments. First-year MBA student John Guieb received a certificate as the author of one of the stories selected for a 2018 Flourish Prize. His story, “Bringing Safe Drinking Water to Vulnerable Populations,” highlighted social enterprise Vestergaard’s invention of the LifeStraw, a portable filtration device that is helping to bring safe drinking water to populations suffering from natural disasters.
