Michele Kuhrt was named vice president, corporate tax for Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc.

On Monday January 2, 2006, the engine in front of Piper Warrior N2759M, in which John Eberle was flight instructor, failed. At 900’ above the Hudson River, he took over the controls. After making a couple of May Day calls, Eberle safely landed the plane in the Hudson River, where those aboard waited to be rescued. NYPD air-lifted him to Jacobi Medical Center where he was kept overnight and treated for hypothermia.

William Doggett was elected as an officer of the 2006 board of directors for the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program of Greater Cleveland.
