Posted 10.18.05Weatherhead students participated in a wide-range of internship experiences this past summer.
Summer is usually a time for students to relax, enjoy a vacation, and take time away from their studies. However, many Weatherhead MBA students took a slightly different approach to their summer. Students continued their learning from the previous year while gaining valuable experience through internships with some of the most well-known companies in the United States.
Of the Weatherhead MBA students seeking an internship last summer, an astounding 97% received an offer. Our students worked for organizations such as IBM, Merrill Lynch, Guidant, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory, just to name a few. Students received internships in marketing, corporate finance, investment banking, technology, health care, non-profit, and consumer product organizations throughout the country.
Brian Warner, a Weatherhead MBA, commented on his IBM internship experience, “It has been challenging and incredibly rewarding. The best internship a technologically-oriented business student could experience.”
It is evident that Weatherhead MBA students reached great internship success this past summer, and next year’s class is eager to continue the success.
