Weatherhead MBA Improves in Financial Times 2010 Rankings
The Financial Times released its 2010 Top 100 Global MBA Program rankings, and the Weatherhead School of Management is proud to announce its placement of 80th on this prestigious list. This year's ranking represents a fifteen place jump from 2009. On the national level, Weatherhead placed 48th overall, an increase of five spots from 2009.
Executive MBA Program Focuses on Leadership Component
For close to half a century, Weatherhead has been characterized by a series of bold ideas that set it apart from any other business school. So, when BusinessWeek published its 2009 list of the top Executive MBA programs, we had to ask ourselves what we should do now that the Weatherhead EMBA ranked 16th in the country and 21st in the world, with the highest possible marks in two of the three categories. The answer was simple: Raise the bar.
The Weatherhead EMBA develops leaders who possess the skills and insights that organizations need to prosper. Visit us online to learn more about our program, or attend our upcoming Open House on February 10 from 6-8 p.m.
Weatherhead Team Places First at Deal Maker Awards
The Cleveland Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) held a day-long merger advisory competition in which they invited teams of graduate students from five schools--Baldwin Wallace, Case Western Reserve, Cleveland State, Kent State, and Ohio State--to participate in a week-long analysis of a real-world merger case developed by Houlihan Lokey, a boutique investment banking firm based in Chicago and Los Angeles. Weatherhead students took top honors in the competition and received recognition at an event with many prominant business leaders.
Don't Miss Casino Night

Faculty in the Field
Over the past quarter, Weatherhead faculty have appeared in the media, won various academic awards, and had their works published. These recent accolades include Dr. Fred Collopy's BusinessWeek blog, Dr. Scott Shane's book referenced by Author Malcolm Gladwell, and Dr. J.B. Silvers' appearance on Marketplace. We've featured these individuals and all of our faculty accomplishments in one place.
