Weatherhead announces 2022 faculty awards

Weatherhead School of Management is pleased to recognize the following faculty in 2022 who have been selected as exemplars in each of the areas of the profession: research, teaching and service.

The WSOM Enduring Impact Award
This award recognizes scholarly contributions with an enduring impact in their area of research.
This year’s recipient is Satish Nambisan, Nancy and Joseph Keithley Professorship of Technology Management, and professor of design and innovation.

The WSOM Emerging Impact Award 
This award recognizes scholarly contributions that represent an emerging impact in their area of research.
This year’s recipient is Anthony Bucaro, associate professor of accountancy.

The Doctoral Teaching & Mentoring Award 
This award recognizes a professor who exemplifies excellence in teaching and mentoring selected by PhD and DM/DBA students.
This year’s recipients are Corinne Coen, associate professor of organizational behavior; and Yunmei Wang, associate professor for the Department of Medicine, School of Medicine, and research scientist for the Cardiovascular Research Institute, School of Medicine.

Graduate Faculty Teaching Excellence Award.
The graduate teaching award committee reviewed numerous nominations by students and recognized one faculty for this award.
This year's recipient is Joon Woo Bae, assistant professor of banking and finance.

Weatherhead Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award
The undergraduate teaching award committee recognized one faculty member for this award.
The recipient is Shitao Yang, visiting associate professor of operations.
