On Tuesday March 4th Megan Buchter, Fowler Center Director, had the opportunity to attend the Veale Youth Entrepreneurship thinkBIG Summit. The Summit was the culminating event of the Veale Innovation Challenge. The Veale Innovation Challenge engages teams of local high school students to submit entrepreneurial ideas though several rounds of judging and executive coaching. Buchter had the opportunity to participate as one of the judges for this year’s competition. The Summit was a one-day conference consisting of a headline speaker, a panel of young entrepreneurs, a mini-hackathon challenge, and presentations from the challenge finalists.
