Mitchell’s Homemade Ice Cream in Cleveland, OH, is more than just your average ice cream shop. Through focusing on the relational wellbeing of their customers, employees, and community, they created an innovative ice cream shop with sustainability as its core foundation.
Mitchell’s Homemade has created an everlasting impression on Cleveland and Northern Ohio. They achieved UN Global Goal #11 Sustainable Cities and Communities. They achieved this goal by purchasing ingredients from local farmers. Mitchell’s Homemade prioritizes purchasing ingredients that are grown from local farms in the Northern Ohio region. Pete Mitchell stated, “when choosing our ingredients, we ensure that they are both fair trade products and organic.”
