MSM-Finance Program Receives New STEM Designation

The Weatherhead School of Management’s MSM-Finance program has achieved classification as a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) program for its Financial Big Data and Risk Management Tracks

This new designation, allows international students to extend their training in the United States by working in their field of study. This means MSM Finance students may be eligible for up to three years of work in the United States.

The new STEM designation highlights the program’s rigorous curriculum focusing on STEM areas including:

  • Algebra and Number Theory
  • Analysis and Functional Analysis
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Financial Mathematics
  • Mathematical Statistics and Probability
