Assistant Professor of Economics, Justin Gallagher, PhD, is part of a research team looking into the effect of healthy lunch options on student test scores. Along with co-authors Michael Anderson and Elizabeth Ramirez Ritchie, Gallagher's working paper shows that schools that contract with healthy lunch providers also have students with slightly better state test scores.
