Two of Cleveland’s largest money managers and investment advisers are joining forces in a deal that positions both to grab additional business, particularly in Northeast Ohio.
HPM Partners, a national wealth management and investment advisory firm based in New York and founded in 2009, has announced plans to acquire Cleveland-based Spero-Smith Investment Advisers, Northeast Ohio’s ninth-largest money manager by assets under management, according to Crain’s research.
