On Tuesday, Nov. 10, the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit had the opportunity to host guests of the Cleveland Council on World Affairs. A seven person team was invited to the United States under the sponsorship of the U.S.Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program. The visitors came from all corners of the globe – Armenia, Egypt, Haiti, Oman, Switzerland, Turkey, and Zimbabwe. The purpose of their visit to Cleveland was to meet with various organization leaders to get a clearer picture of what social enterprise looks like in the United States. Fowler Center staff shared the Center’s mission and projects and the group had a lively discussion on how individuals and organizations can pursue Business as an Agent of World Benefit.
