Case Western Reserve University’s AIM2Flourish Initiative Announces Technology Partner Purposeful Networks

Enabling Student-Fueled Global Learning:

Cleveland, OH – September 15, 2015 – The Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit announced today that Cincinnati-based Purposeful Networks is the technology partner for the AIM2Flourish global learning platform and business innovation recognition initiative.

AIM2Flourish is a student-driven global initiative at management schools promoting the United Nation’s 17 Global Goals as a lens to discover, report, and share radical innovations that address humanity’s most pressing challenges. The stories will become nominations honored at AIM2Flourish’s inaugural celebration during the 2017 Fourth Global Forum.

Purposeful Networks is an industry leader in developing elegant, engaging, and innovative systems to drive positive impact, including “InnerView,” the world’s leading platform to reward those who invest energy and effort in the causes they care about. InnerView helps good people unlock great opportunities.

“We are thrilled and grateful to be working with Purposeful Networks,” said AIM2Flourish Executive Director Roberta Baskin. “This partnership is our rocket fuel to scale up AIM2Flourish from a dynamic teaching and learning platform to a wildly successful viral catalyst that can transform management education. Our goal is to prepare tomorrow’s business leaders to be best for the world, not just best in the world. We’re connecting students to the most ingenious business leaders of today, and then celebrating the accomplishments of both students and business innovators.”

AIM2Flourish’s Spring 2015 pilot with 24 professors and over 100 students in 19 countries generated nearly 60 stories about business innovators, all of which can be seen on The pilot’s results were announced in June at the UN Global Compact’s 15th anniversary events in New York City and affirmed in a UN Declaration.

The AIM2Flourish community of supporters includes UN PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) with 580 signatory schools globally; the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI) business network; and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This fall, hundreds of business students and their professors will join the community on five continents to discover and report on business innovations that uplift humanity. The students are learning to use “Appreciative Inquiry” techniques in their interviews with business innovators.

The project is hosted at the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit at the Weatherhead School of Management – Case Western Reserve University. Visit the Fowler Center website and the AIM2Flourish project website.
