Nick Perini, MBA '10 and Vice President of Beese Fulmer Private Wealth Management, has been recognized as a 2015 'ystark! Twenty Under 40' award recipient from the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Perini, of Hudson, along with the other award winners, represents the extraordinary young professionals serving the Stark County community, according to a chamber spokesperson.
Perini is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management where he received his MBA with a concentration in finance. He received his CFA certification and was elected to serve on the executive board of the CFA Society Cleveland. In addition, Perini serves on the Rotary Club of Canton's Board of Trustee and is a board member of the First Tee of Canton serving on the personnel committee. He helped to create the Beese Fulmer Community Impact Policy, which encourages employees to give back to the community while using office time to do so. He is a mentor for students at Walsh University where he assists with the CFA Global Investment Research Challenge, guest lectures in Professor Mike May's finance classes, and mentors the students in the Student Managed Investment Portfolio. In addition, he works closely with the University to create appropriate curriculum for finance majors, is an active alumni member at Case Western Reserve University, and is a member of the Weatherhead School of Management Alumni Advisory Board. Perini was named to the new Weatherhead Curriculum Committee, which will focus on the Master's in Finance students and is tasked to build a curriculum to prepare students in the finance field.
