Students in the Global MBA program created CTX: BRACE, a consulting club that meets weekly in Shanghai.
Students in the Weatherhead Global MBA program have formed CTX: BRACE (Business Review and Consulting Entrepreneurs), a weekly consulting club currently meeting in Shanghai.
Started by Rishabh Jain and J. Michael Tasse, Jr., BRACE is already making connections and creating international relationships. During the club's meetings, a consultant from Deloitte met with the group via Skype for 45 minutes to share industry tips, lifestyle and job requirements. Tongji students presented their case and methodology with Volvo and worked with the rest of the club throughout the meeting to gather ideas for a strategy to bring Volvo to China.
Three of BRACE's members won first place and about $800 USD in the Drishtickon Case Competitor, an Indian competition on Corporate Social Responsibility in India.
The club started a blog to track and share their activities. Visit CTX:BRACE for more information.
