Sarah Duffy, Master of Science in Positive Organization Development and Change (MPOD) '11, has been recognized by Consulting Magazine as one of twelve recipients of the Future Leader award honoring Women Leaders in Consulting.
Consulting magazine cites Duffy's inspirational leadership in the San Francisco area among some of the reasons for this recognition: "Under her direction, Sarah quickly amassed an impressive book of business at clients across all industries in San Francisco. Sarah is also seen as an inspiring leader and role model for women in the San Francisco market and nationally. Slalom Consulting believes so strongly in her leadership potential that she has been asked to lead her practice for the entire San Francisco market. This includes managing a team of 26 consultants and 3 leaders and over $10M in revenue. Her fast rise to success is only magnified by her plans for the future business."
Duffy attributes some of her success to the MPOD program and its faculty members. "The whole MPOD program... made a huge impact on my consulting style, leadership awareness and clearly, my overall person."
An awards ceremony in New York City will be held on November 6 to honor Duffy and the other award recipients.
