Laudan Properties tops the 2013 Weatherhead 100 list

Congratulations to Twinsburg-based Laudan Properties LLC, whose rapid growth earned it the top spot on this year's Weatherhead 100 list! Laudan Properties offers property management and maintenance, inspections and preservation, and residential remodeling. The company grew an astonishing 1,659 percent from 2008-12.
Each year, the Weatherhead 100 ranking highlights Northeast Ohio's fastest-growing companies in three categories.
- Weatherhead 100: 100 companies with net revenue of at least $100,000 in 2008 and more than $1 million in 2012 with at least 16 full-time employees in 2012
- Weatherhead Upstarts: 20 companies that otherwise qualify, but have no more than 15 employees or less than $1 million in net revenue in 2012
- Weatherhead Centurions: 12 companies with 100 percent or more revenue growth (or growth equal to that of the 100th company in the Weatherhead 100 category) from 2008 through 2012 and net revenue of at least $100 million in 2012
This year's top Upstart was US Freight LLC of Cleveland with a growth rate of 1,856 percent. Heading up the Centurion category was Mazzella Holding Co., also based in Cleveland, with a growth rate of 252 percent. The winners were annouced at a black-tie gala on Tuesday, December 3.
