Gary Previts inducted into TKE Circle of Excellence
Gary Previts, PhD, CPA, Distinguished University Professor, E. Mandell de Windt Professor in Leadership and Enterprise Development and professor of accountancy, has the esteemed honor of being inducted into the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) Circle of Excellence. Previts was recruited into TKE as an adult member in 1990 at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, where he helped sponsor the formation of that chapter.
The TKE Circle of Excellence is a group of “Tekes” who have made significant strides in their chosen fields. Besides being honored as members of the Circle of Excellence, these individuals have also been recognized by peers in their respective fields for their extraordinary accomplishments. Among the distinguished Tekes who have been bestowed this honor is former president of the United States Ronald Reagan. In 1978, as chair of the TKE Grand Prytanis Advisory, Reagan called upon other alums across the country to assemble and consider involvement in the fraternity. The initial congregation formed the first members of the Circle of Excellence. Since then, at each biennial Conclave beginning in 2007, TKE has inducted new members into the Circle of Excellence.
Congratulations to Previts on this great honor!
