Cleveland is known for many things: a plethora of inventors, a renowned orchestra, and spectacular sports teams. But did you know Cleveland also hosts the largest outdoor flower show in North America? In addition, it also is the only outdoor flower show in North America honored with Major Show status by both The Garden Club of America and National Garden Clubs, Inc.
Held May 24-28 the Cleveland Botanical Garden Annual Flower Show 2007 features all new gardens, competitive and non-competitive horticultural exhibits, and a garden market place. Don’t miss out on this chance to expand your green thumb!
Parade the Circle and Circle Village
Looking for a way to delight your entire family? Join the University Circle community for a free one-day arts event on June 9 featuring a colorful parade and a family-friendly interactive arts and crafts celebration. Parade the Circle, the Cleveland Museum of Arts annual colorful parade kicks off at noon and features a plethora of floats, giant puppets, and stilt-walkers. Before and after the parade, stop by Circle Village to celebrate art, dance, and music in a family-friendly atmosphere. Circle Village, sponsored by University Circle Inc., will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wade Oval. Parade the Circle starts at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History at noon. Come out and celebrate the arts and diversity of Cleveland.
