The January update from ITG includes information on the new Online Course Evaluation system, the new Case password policy, a new version of Oracle Calendar client and some fun facts about the traffic on the Weatherhead website in 2005.
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: ONLINE COURSE EVALUATIONS
ITG has developed an Online Course Evaluation system. This allows for the evaluation survey to be placed online in a secure environment and for the collected data to remain anonymous. January 9 launched the new site with first-year MPOD students evaluating their Fall semester courses. Thanks to Pandora Robertson and Bryan Chaikin for all their hard work on this project.
CASE PASSWORD POLICY
Case has instituted a new password policy requiring all networks users to have a robust password. As part of this policy, all users are required to update their password by February 15, 2006. For complete information on this policy, please visit http://www.case.edu/its/password.
Please contact Carleen Henderson for additional support (email@example.com or 216-368-6930).
ORACLE CALENDAR CLIENT UPDATED
If you need to update your password in your Oracle Calendar client, you will need to delete the old version of the calendar and install the latest version. To do this, remove the current client software using the Add-Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
To get the latest version of the software, visit the Case Software Center download and install Oracle Calendar Version 10.
