In September 2018, OMNOVA Solutions acquired Resiquimica, a producer of resins and binders based in Lisbon, Portugal. Weatherhead MBA students were invited to review the details of the acquisition, meet with US and Portugal-based leadership teams and present their findings and recommendations back to headquarters.

Richard Boyatzis, PhD, Distinguished University Professor, H.R. Horvitz Professor of Family Business and professor of organizational behavior meets Marie Motte-Culem, one of nearly 200,000 participants around the world who had signed up for his massive open online course (MOOC) titled Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence. Motte-Culem was so inspired by the MOOC's topic of "resonant leadership" she flew from France to take additional courses with Weatherhead Executive Education to get her Emotionally Intelligent Leader certificate.
