The MOOC and Motte-Culem: A world where we can share everything with everybody
Richard Boyatzis, PhD, Distinguished University Professor, H.R. Horvitz Professor of Family Business and professor of organizational behavior meets Marie Motte-Culem, one of nearly 200,000 participants around the world who had signed up for his massive open online course (MOOC) titled Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence. Motte-Culem was so inspired by the MOOC's topic of "resonant leadership" she flew from France to take additional courses with Weatherhead Executive Education to get her Emotionally Intelligent Leader certificate.
Accountancy at Weatherhead School of Management: Integrated Bachelors & Masters Degrees
When 2015 Weatherhead School of Management graduate Greg Bokar initially arrived at Case Western Reserve University he was going to become a pre-med major. That quickly changed. After talking with Weatherhead faculty about the variety of job opportunities available in accounting, he started work towards an integrated Bachelor's/Masters in Accountancy degree, a traditional 4-year degree that also includes a masters program. While at Weatherhead, Greg was able to dive deep into all aspects of accountancy, as well as receive opportunities to learn outside of the classroom through internships and guidance from Weatherhead's dedicated faculty.
