Jonathan S. Pyzoha, PhD, CPA, received a BS in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Miami University. Before completing a PhD at Virginia Tech, Pyzoha worked as a financial statement auditor at KPMG on multiple large, publicly listed companies in the insurance, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals industries. Motivated by his experiences as an external auditor, his research interests include judgment and decision-making in accounting and auditing contexts related to executive compensation, fair value measurements, corporate governance, audit committees and auditor-client negotiations. Pyzoha teaches auditing and financial accounting at WSOM.
