This two-session series is designed to provide a framework for supervision of the youth-work professional based on research and best/promising practices. The course emphasizes incorporating effective strategies to enhance the effectiveness of staff development and support within youth-serving organizations, including dealing with workplace diversity and handling difficult workplace situations.
Participants who successfully complete the course and the associated course assessment will be awarded a digital badge in “Staff Supervision.” Once you earn a digital badge, you can feature it on your personal networking sites, opening doors to more career, education and lifelong learning opportunities.
This series aligns with core knowledge and competencies for youth work professionals that have been developed by the National Afterschool Association (NAA) and the Ohio Afterschool Network (OAN).
