Wendy has 20 years of experience as a leader, mentor, instructor, and emotionally intelligent supervisor in higher education and technology.
A skilled communicator and collaborator, she has worked across all levels of administration, as well as with faculty and students, on high profile projects, such as Case’s technology enhanced classrooms and virtual learning spaces.
She has three years of formal coaching experience with many additional years serving as an informal coach to peers and subordinates. At Case, she is an active member of the Women’s Staff Leadership Development Initiative, and provides both direct and indirect coaching to emerging women leaders. She also teaches both undergraduate and graduate student courses related to academic technologies and 21st century literacy.
Wendy has been shaping academic technologies at Case for nine years. Prior to coming to Case, she worked at John Carroll as a leader in academic technologies. She has also held the position of educational specialist with IBM.
Wendy holds a B.S. in social work, and a Masters in Higher Education Administration and Ph.D. Instructional Technology. She is especially interested in helping to further the careers of those working in higher education as well as in technology-oriented professions.
