Lube Stop is an $18 million quick oil change company with 240 employees operating 37 locations in Cleveland and Akron. Since Morley joined Lube Stop in 2004, the company has increased net revenue 12%, increased operating profit 57%, and reduced employee injuries by 78%. In 2007, the company increased car volume for the first time in over a decade. Lube Stop is one of the first companies in the industry to launch a re-refined oil change service as well as a formal sustainability program, focused on reducing the company’s ecological impact and improving the communities in which it operates.
Morley holds a BA in American History from Hobart College and an MBA in Marketing and Corporate Strategy from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He serves on the steering committees for Information Technology and the GreenCityBlue Lake Institute at The Cleveland Museum of Natural History as well as the Corporate Sustainability Network. He is a member of Entrepreneurs 4 Sustainability (E4S) and was featured in Cleveland Crain’s “Forty Under 40” in 2007.
