American Tank & Fabricating Company: Case Study

The American Tank and Fabricating Company (Amtank) is now in its fourth generation of family leadership. Amtank is a Cleveland, Ohio based manufacturer of specialized components for heavy industrial and military applications. The company currently produces large structural components for mining and construction equipment manufacturers, shipbuilding, oil refining, and nuclear and fossil fuel power generation. The company is in the midst of expanding operations abroad, particularly in India, and would like to engage students in an interactive discussion concerning the company's future as it faces the global marketplace and the opportunities that it can provide.
