Highland Consulting Information Session

PBL 258

Highland, founded in 1993, provides fee-only consulting services to institutional investors and their fiduciaries. Since our inception, the firm has grown to include eight highly-qualified consultants and ten other professionals. The average experience of the consulting team is in excess of 20 years.

Our firm operates based on the concept of "investor advocacy." As our clients' Investor Advocates®, we work with them to improve their prospects for success. Our approach requires that our ownership, operational and compensation structures be aligned with clients, adhering to the philosophy that "our only alliance is with our clients." We are not money managers and have no formal or informal ties to investment products or other service providers.

We are committed to maintaining comprehensive, up-to-date information on investment managers and other service providers. Technology and relevant database resources are continuously monitored and improved to benefit our clients. Highland develops and recruits associates to assure clients that the required human resources are available for client service.

Highland serves a wide array of clients. Fiduciary clients include defined benefit and defined contribution plans, Taft-Hartley plans, foundations and endowments. We have become a recognized leader in serving the needs of participant-directed plan sponsors. Clients also include family offices and similar private investors.

The growth of our client base follows a managed profile in terms of the number of clients we serve and the total amount of assets we oversee. Currently we consult to clients with combined total assets in excess of $5 billion. Highland maintains a commitment to grow at a rate that allows us to provide the resources, responsiveness and service that our clients deserve.

Representatives will be providing information about their company and speak to employment opportunities.
