Weatherhead 100 | Weatherhead School at Case Western Reserve University

Weatherhead 100

The Weatherhead 100 was created in 1987 by Bob Pavey, managing partner of Morganthaler Partners, who first noted that northeast Ohio needed a venue to acknowledge, support, and celebrate the fastest-growing companies in the region. As a result, the Weatherhead 100 list, objectively determined and highly regarded throughout the region, is a testament to these companies' hard work, commitment, innovation, and the dream to succeed.

The Weatherhead 100 is co-presented by the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE). COSE is the region’s largest small business support organization and provides cost-effective group purchasing programs, advocacy on legislative and regulatory issues, and networking and educational resources to help northeast Ohio’s small-businesses grow. With more than 15,000 members, COSE is a driving force in advocating for the priorities of northeast Ohio’s small businesses and a key player in the selection of the Weatherhead 100, from managing company application submissions to planning the awards ceremony.

Since 2004, the Weatherhead 100 is compiled and managed by the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE).
