MPOD-MOD Reunion

Practicing OD in Unprecedented Times

Please join an amazing weekend of learning, sharing, reconnecting and fun. Spouses and partners are welcome at the social events for the normal per-event charge; the program day will be limited to alumni and current MPODs.

Friday, 6p-10p, Meet & Greet at The Mad Greek, $25, cash bar and a dinner spread of Mediterranean hors d’oeuvres.

Saturday, 8a-5p, Practicing OD in Unprecedented Times, Dively Center, $65, includes meals.

The morning is spent with Dr. Ron Fry, chair of Weatherhead’s Organizational Behavior Dept., and Adrian McLean, of Ashridge Consulting and Ashridge Business School in England. Dr. Fry will present “Managing by Design,” looking at how design skills and methods enable managers to respond to complex situations creatively, holistically, and productively. Adrian, who’s familiar to many MPOD alumni from our visits to Ashridge, will present on “Complex Responsive Systems,” the application of complexity thinking, emergence and self-organization.

This is followed by back-to-back breakout sessions led by almuni in the afternoon. The breakouts and presenters are:

·         Introduction to Holacracy - Allison Conte, MPOD2

·         Tapping Into the Power of Affect: Emotions as a Key to Transfer   Learning and Knowledge, or Why You Always Remember Those Movie Posters - Rita, Kowalski, MPOD1

·         Recipe for Successful Change:  Do you have the right ingredients?  - Suzie Mosco, MOD XII

·         An Accelerated Learning “Taster” - Sarah Spengler, MOD VI

Saturday, 6p-11p, Celebrating MOD, MPOD and Origins, Pickwick & Frolic, $40, cash bar.

Join us to honor Dr. Eric Neilsen's contribution to MOD, MPOD and OD, to recognize milestone MOD anniversaries, and for an evening of socializing, networking and just enjoying a nice dinner and music together at Pickwick & Frolic in downtown Cleveland's popular 4th Street area.

Sunday, 10a-1p, Brunch with MPOD6, Dively, $15.

This popular brunch is a hit for both alumni and the new MPOD cohort – a great chance to share, to say hello and to say goodbye.
